THE OLD WAY

PRO licensing is a maze.

  • ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and GMR — each with their own fee and audit process.
  • Per-stream reporting for Spotify/Apple business tiers, plus device caps.
  • Ambush audits and back-payments — even for small cafés and studios.
  • Explicit tracks in the shuffle, no dayparting, no scheduling.
THE RADIOTHAT WAY

One flat fee. One license. One catalog.

  • Every track is AI-original — RadioThat owns or licenses it end-to-end.
  • Commercial use is included and indemnified. Play in public safely.
  • Explicit-free option baked in — clean library by default.
  • No per-stream reporting, no PRO fees, no audits.

QUESTIONS FROM THE FRONT DESK

Common venue questions.

What do you mean by "no PRO licenses"?
Public spaces normally pay ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and GMR because they play music their patrons wrote. Every RadioThat track is generated by our automated pipeline and owned or exclusively licensed by RadioThat — there are no third-party rightsholders to pay, no PRO royalties, and no audits. Our Venue license grants you the right to play the catalog in your commercial space.
How do explicit content controls work?
The Venue library is business-safe by default: explicit-tagged tracks are filtered before they ever reach a Venue player. You can also lock individual stations to a family-friendly subset for lobbies and kid-adjacent spaces.
Can I schedule different music at different times of day?
Yes — dayparting is built in. Line up a morning coffee mood, a lunch-rush lift, an afternoon focus block, and a dinner-service groove per location. Schedules sync to each location's local time.
How does multi-location management work?
One operator dashboard controls every location on your account. Push a station change or dayparting update to a single location, a region, or the whole fleet. Billing is consolidated onto one invoice.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Start with a 30-day free trial — no card charged if you cancel before it ends. After the trial, cancel any time from the operator dashboard; you'll keep access through the end of the current billing period.
What does "AI-original" mean for my business?
Every track was produced by our pipeline from a producer's brief — no sampling of copyrighted recordings, no third-party sync obligations. That's what makes the flat commercial license possible.
